John Kelly


John has successfully worked in medical device product commercialisation for more than 15 years, focusing on the delivery of solutions that improve usability and reliability. He led the New Product Implementation Group at ResMed, where he managed the design and commercialisation of the Mirage Swift mask.

John was then Chief Operating Officer at ASX listed, now NASDAQ listed Unilife Corporation, where he led commercialisation of ‘Unifill’, the world’s first glass prefilled drug delivery device with integrated auto retract safety. This technology was licensed to Sanofi Aventis, securing US$47 million in licence and development fees.

John set up Atomo Diagnostics in 2010 with the vision to develop & commercialise integrated diagnostics that are easy to use and highly accessible. In addition to his commercial experience, John has an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Sydney where he was awarded the Business School’s inaugural ‘Excellence in Leadership’ scholarship.

Robert Snoch


Robert is responsible for planning, preparing and reporting on all accounting aspects of the business to assist with company growth and drive, ensuring the company is managing its cost and asset base effectively and complying with all statutory requirements.

He is a highly experienced Group Financial Controller with expertise in corporate, manufacturing and sporting environments.

Robert has over twenty years senior financial management experience in a variety of different industries including over eight years as Group Financial Controller with ASX and NASDAQ listed Unilife Medical Solutions Ltd. Robert holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

Anna Wang


Anna is a seasoned global health advocacy professional with more than 25 years’ experience in public affairs and communications.  As well as chairing Atomo’s Clinical Advisory Board, Anna manages the company’s global health programmes and partnerships to ensure maximum impact.

Previously, Anna was Vice-President for Public Affairs at the Medicines for Malaria Venture, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to antimalarial R&D.  She was also a long-time senior advisor to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, providing advice on global health R&D advocacy strategies. Since 2009, Anna has been advisor to a prominent Hong Kong-based philanthropist and impact investor.  She is a board member of various NGOs and B Corps.

Chandra Sukumar



Responsible for coordinating Atomo’s product development programmes and operational activities, Chandra has significant experience of the medical device sector, gleaned over twenty years.  She has a track record of success in the industry, with particular focus on product development, commercialisation and supply chain management.

Chandra joined Atomo from ResMed, Australia, where she held various senior roles.  She has an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and a Master of Science degree.
